What is the SAT?
The SAT and SAT Subject Tests are a suite of tools designed to assess your academic readiness for college. The SAT tests your Reading, Writing and Math. The SAT is made up of 10 sections and takes approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete. The SAT and SAT Subject Tests are offered several times a year. Most students take the SAT for the first time during the spring of their
junior year and a second time during the fall of their senior year.

What is the ACT?
The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Math, Reading and Science. The ACT Plus Writing includes the four subject area tests plus a 30-minute Writing Test. The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete. The ACT results are accepted by all 4-year colleges and universities in the U.S.
